Noticed that if we go out in a group of 2-3 but have 5 people in the world the difficulty is perfect because of the scaling. Intense / punishing fights.

Is there a way to make it as difficult 2x as far as scaling goes?
So if you're solo, scale mobs as if there was another player in the world
2 -> 4
3 -> 6 and so on

Best option is installing a mod pack or two, There's one that let's you decide how difficult the game should be, or you can choose one of several difficulties as pre-sets.
