They did dial back the spawn rates of swamp crypts it seems. I noticed a significant decrease, almost 75%, for unexplored swamps on my home map. Uncovered areas will have something like 10 to 15 crypts, new areas have like 2 or 3. Pretty brutal in a not so fun way.
