The game is in Early Access and that means with every update your mods will likely get broken and you will need to update the server and each client will need to update their files as well.. If they don't even know how to find the files let alone update them that could cause people to just stop playing and blame the devs for breaking their games.

eh we all get the early access game concept of everything changing and breaking with mods. we love to experience games growth and test new ideas along the way.ca lot of really important game features have started out as mods for games. some people want to take part in playing with mods that might not know much about doing so. most games make it pretty easy theses days even in e.a. of cures the workshop does wonders for a lot of games to make it super easy and make more people want to experience modded gameplay without the hassle, its not wrong for them to want to do so.

While i appreciate you taking the time to comment and express you feelings, it is an invalid statement that served no purpose in proposing an answer to my question.
