"Is the game good yet?"
Arguably the game is actually worse now since there is more content and new items/recipes and if that is not OPs thing then my point is valid. There is more "grinding" for materials and new areas from which to get them.
Also food thingies, and crafting of those has gone through some changes.

I think the hitboxes have been modified so fighting wolves on steep slopes is easier but this is just one of things where you either adapt and take into consideration the situation you have managed to get yourself into or die, again.

Personally I like these changes and currently playing new world& character. Haven´t yet beaten Moder, since haven ´t found the altar tho i have the eggs, so can´t talk about late-game features but I´m willing to bet that surviving will be the key element in mistlands, as it has been the whole time.

Enjoying the game with my 10 year old rig, it runs 45-60fps just fine on
GTX 980, have upgraded to this because gtx 660 was struggling a bit
