After last Update...

many people had the problem that their rented server was poorly configured~~

if you have dedicated server on the same PC as your game with steam cloud
then you either disable steam cloud or change save location for dedicated server

if you don't then synchronization fails and you may delete your own progress
^ which in short means that players screwed up something
not game, not devs, it's player who screwed it up ;D


if it happened singleplayer then it's something new, and actual bug with game
then any details are useful~~ log etc
