When being attacked by wild Lox I performed a triple jump onto a very large sheer sided rock. One Lox was inserting itself under another Lox that was attempting to reach my perch. Wedging itself under its fellow, it lifted it onto its back giving it enough height to scale the side of the rock and reach me.

I have also seen my tamed wolves perform the same leapfrogging behaviour as your boars, while attempting to reach Greylings on the other side of the earthen wall in their enclosure.
