I have a base in every biome. My main base is in the plains. I hardly spend any time in the meadows.

I had 1 seeker event and only 1 got inside my compound because I popped my head up at the walls and it flew over into the base.

I use raised earth walls with the hoe and then put stone / marble on the top to make it somewhat nicer looking.
