upper right is a raven icon the Compendium it will list all the game hints Hugin gave you so far so you can use that to figure out where you are early on. Don't think Hugin has much to say past the swamp?

A lot of things did change but you may not notice much if you are just entering the swamp. If you played before the Home and Hearth update then you should probably restart.
