kite 2 boars into a compound.. toss them some food, that you find easy in Meadows. Beware of having fires close that will make the taming a bit longer

Hit M to bring up your map and look for a skull thingy. Tabs on right can toggle things on and off.

Well, this game wasn't really designed around single player. It's meant to played with a friend or even a small group of friends. It's a co-op game. So yeah, definitely try using the looking for group..

There is a sub forum for looking for groups. Try there.

I mostly took the StagBreaker to defeat the Bonemass, then my iron axe (but I nearly died), some frost arrows, then finished it with Stagbreaker.

they will take natural/world damage to about half without a roofits fine as long as they are protected enough against mobs attacking

They do not decay entirely if that helps, otherwise mod it out.

ya know in pvp this would be a feature not a bug

"Public servers" are just servers run by people who don't put a password on when they start a community server. Generally unsavory to play on because of low brow human nature on full display..

You can host a dedicated server that your friends can join with out you having to be online, but the dedicated server has to be running .As far as I know, there are no public servers.

Also they've not built half the bosses (or their biomes) yet.

bonemass steps it up a little but if you have all the right items he is pretty easy.you can beat him the real way no need to cheese, just have the right items/wep/armor and he is no problem.edit: bloc..
