No. Probably, or rather maybe after the game is finished and released. There are modders though.

Go to a seed that you haven't killed any bosses on for your building and hanging out. Only boars and necks ever "raid" take your boss items with you!

The iron mace goes a long way. dunno if it's the most effective weapon but i'm still using it while in the "black metal" era.
