Draugr Elite have a Slash attack that can do 58 damage. The max block on a Bronze buckler is 24 So blocking with a Bronze Buckler will still let through about 34 damage Which wit fully upgraded bronze..

You need a stronger shield.You must destroy the spawn pile in the room that they are spawning in. Arrows work well to destroy it from range.

I use them on Serpents a lot. Poison them, harpoon them and drag to a beach. Draugr Fang is of course better for this, but poison arrows + finewood or huntsman bow is a decent alternative.

Considering they have much higher total damage than many other arrows.. they're good for whatever you like.Except maybe Swamp stuff.

Tower shields are good for multiplayer. Tower shields can be given to someone who just wants to tank and disrupt enemies so others can pick them off

I only used tower shields on my second playthrough, because my first time in Valheim I finished the game using bucklers only and it was too OP. So I kinda nerfed myself. But to each their own
