The game isn't an MMO. Stop trying to treat it like one. It's meant for co-op and trusted individuals to join private games.

If you stop trying to move the lox in presence of enemies the lox will attack said enemies. And I believe you can remove portals by typing /no portal in chat command

If you can't do it vanilla (multiplayer that is), delete the whole of the valheim folder after uninstalling and then try again. If that fails welp i have no idea.

I'd say it could be described as brutal due to the lack of handholding, so if you die, you lose stuff, and if you died in a bad spot, you're kind of screwed unless you manage to take the stuff back in..

I think the brutal is the no hand holding on what to do or how to do things. And that there's no difficulty settings, just take it on the chin and learn from your mistakes or keep dieing I spose
