I still use spears primarily. They are still very fun, and you'd be surprised at how easy it is to hit a drake with them.

Bow is for stealth kills and against airborne enemies. Melee is meant to better in regular combat.

Just to give you an idea, i found onions seeds in 1 out of 2 chests i looted in the mountains (maybe 1 out of 3, hard to say).My world is a new one created after The last big update.

Just another thing to note the area also has to be unexlpored by other players aswell. so don't know if your exploring in places near other players have been before

You need to go to a mountain biome you never even gotten close to. Not chests you've simply never opened.

Personally I think a lot of balance in the game could be tweaked just by making skill progress faster overall. Things wouldn't feel so tedious if you could gain decent breakpoint benefits of the skill..

Probably because they'd need to implement a proper climbing mechanic and interaction with the Objects. Lot easier to just have stairs we can jump up.
