Be careful about deleting them if you haven't recovered your corpse yet. You can lose track of where the grave marker is accidentally that way.

Most dev teams don't have the time to read forums all over the place and only large studios have PR and marketing departments that might look through the larger forums from time to time.

You need more things to unlock the forge. Search for crypts in the dark forest, there you can find red glowy surtling cores. You need five of those for the smelter and also five for the charcoal kiln...

I had 2 deer swimming around my base, they eventually died by trauma caused by boat, it kinda made me sad.

New stuff does show up in old worlds. My world was created the day the game released. Onions are found in chests.

Upgrade World, that simple. Sure you could lose something you've changed, but the new stuff gets added in, so it's worth it.
