at a certain point i dont want to level the whole side of a mountain, i would like a path going up the hill and be able to pull up to the top of an area

Shift-click with the hoe to flatten areas at an angle instead of making level ground "stairsteps", and use switchbacks to go up steep inclines (like real roads do).

Aye, regular wood beams max out at 2m each, where core wood can be 4m; this translates directly to a larger build height.And as stated previously, they are ingredients for multiple crafted items; nota..

They provide better support than normal wood, can have longer pieces, have a different look for those wanting a certain aesthetic, and are required for crafting certain items.

You can build twice as high without breakage using core wood beams instead of ordinary wood. There are also some items that require core wood to make.

I thought I was in the Mistlands for the longest time fighting all the bugs uncovered tons of the map but still wasn't finding Dvergers etc. I got in my ship and sailed the shorelines until I ran into..

It's in the outer third ring of the world roughly. The silhouettes of the biomes are well designed to the point it's easy to identify the biome from a distance. Mistlands terrain is very jagged.

You won't miss these lands - a giant wall of fog is hard to miss.
