At the select world screen, there's a tab for "Join Game". That has the server browser under it.

Top left where it says view. Click and on the drop down menu you'll see servers. From there you need to know the name etc for the server.

I got lucky and found three roots within workbench radius right on the edge of the biome. It was easy to portal in, collect, and move the extractor around to keep the roots working.

you need 2 uncooked bread dough and 1 angler fish in a level 5 cauldron, so one of these things is not being satisfied by you

flint can be found on beaches - or take a look around rivers to cook fish you need a cauldron which requires the pickaxe and a visit in a nearby black forest to get some tinwhen you have set a cauldro..

The pimples of higher ground can be hit with your pickaxe. One light hit and then you can flatten better. I wouldn't use the new pick for that though unless tested somewhere unimportant. The pick actu..

You can fill in those dimpled bits using the hoe's pile/build function and some rocks. Then you can flatten out completely. It's a slow process but it does work.
