There's nothing to fight in the unmodded game prior to mistlands that magic will be balanced for. Every tier is pretty much trivialized the moment you get the first couple of pieces of gear crafted in..

Well, early game is more of you trying to survive the elements, not to master them, imo.Also, the use of portals and the special meads you make is basically magic early on.Lastly, Mistlands is not end..

I noticed the new Black Forest soundtrack has some bass in it that has me looking around for trolls. Sounds good in theory, but annoying in practice.

It can pretty much spawn anywhere (with exceptions of the extreme north and south of the world), with higher chances as you head further from the center of the map.

If you didn't delete your save from the Bronze age, there's zero reason you can't continue that save.
