Upgrade to a better bow asap, with the fine wood bow you don't have to aim off nearly as much as with the crude bow. Some people say the variety of arrows may matter too (with wood being the worst)

I checked in with the Discord helpers, apparently there was a bug so you could accidentally see the black boxes around dungeons from the ground. That should be fixed now.

ye, as i said, they eat all the barley.. i feed them 100 barley and get zero eggs. i also have a heatsource. tried it with and without heatsource. it changes nothing

Are they actually eating the barley? Mine are eating the turnip seeds I give them and laying eggs indoors near a fire.

I think the current auto-save is good but some kind of timer right before the save could be good. 30 seconds is quite a long time and you have time to forget the whole thing.

The game is inspired heavily by Viking mythos and Vikings did not live in massive castles they lived in small 1 room farm houses and communal long houses. You didn't start seeing larger constructions ..

Um every swamp I have come into has at least 6 crypts each dropping a minimum of a stack of iron. Feels alright to me. Plus you really don't use that much iron TBH unless you are trying to build some ..

Swamp has been kicking my ass also. Just gotta adapt and overcome. Take a break and come back, but don't start a new game. It won't take long to get back and recover corpses.
