In my experience, Growth do have a large aggro radius, but they're easy to fight, particularly with a poison resistance mead, or Root Mask.

Well, you personally can of course do whatever you like, but please don't recommend potentially destructive actions to people who have no clues about a computer.

I've been known to task manager kill the game in a moment of pique, and go back to an autosave. Or uninstall. Depends on whether I think the game's misbehavior deserves a deletion or temporary ban.
