Haven't figured out how the backups work. But there's no difference between cloud and local unless you play on different computers. It's just more files to delete if you want to manually backup saves,..

What did I say? Mods. Together with Cloud Save 99% of all issues.Glad you got it working again. :)

did some digging, no rocks beneath the plot, re-installed the mods and the problem persisted. Just disabled another mod that added the ability to tweak plot sizes, im thinking it might be out of date ..

It's nothing special, just... kind of standard? Tbh I haven't yet thought about the UI in my 110 hours. Which for me is a clear sign that it does what it's supposed to do.What do you want from the UI?..

I will have my eye on it, eventually want to try it if the UI improves or there is a mod that changes it.

The UI is fine. There are 1000's of things the Devs should rather look at and add to before letting such pointless petty things into their work day.

Only thing the UI needs is a paperdoll for worn armor. The rest is fine imo.

UI in EA games is never a priority. Your own priorities in what counts as a deal-breaker should also be different in my opinion. In the end, its your choice.

The UI does it's job. The developers of the smash hit Valheim, shouldn't be aping the systems of less successful games anyway. The developers hit the bullseye and people don't seem to mind the UI.

Agreed, hybrid is best...alphaNumeric input AND hotkeys...wish controller devices had a few more buttons for hotkeys.
