I can't say I noticed a massive difference if there was a change. It's certainly not light daylight in there, more like dusk. But I don't remember it being insanely dark in the past, could be remember..

They haven't changed at all for me. It sounds like it's some issue with your install.

I have been playing since last July and if they brightened the tombs, I missed it.

just place a portal down and travel the stone to your building place? no need to waste them resources

I also tried this and found the draining method to be quicker and more effective. you just need too much stone that can be otherwise used for building purposes

might ask around in their discord, ppl are way more helpfull there, sadly I do not know how to change it..

They said mountain caves would not spawn in areas already explored.

Even if this works, it's a pain in the *** to do. There is around 90-115 pieces of tar in every pit and you will not get all of them with that method.Just drain the pits from tar by pick-axe a deep tr..
