There are also various community tools available to help recover older maps by selectively recreating parts of the worldgen or exporting buildings to a fresh save. It'll be fine.

I would tend to avoid companies that look like they sprung up just to host one popular game and look to experienced places with servers everywhere and support for dozens of games, but Valhost also off..

I hosted a server on my PC, where I also played on it together with 1-2 others and I had no problems.

Been using Valhost for about a year for myself and a few friends. It's cheap & happy with it :)

First piece of advice I got off of Steam forums was 'disable cloud saves'. Never hadany reason to regret it.
