You should put up a cartography table with either character, you will find that map sharing requires one.

At night, greydwarves can spawn near your base, as do skeletons, and fulings depending on your current boss kill level, in the meadows, and else where.

Troll caves DO NOT respawn. This includes everything except glowshrooms(what i call yellow mushrooms).

Maybe surrounding building structures stop a respawn (for outside, but I doubt this would affect the inside), but we've had our Troll Museum for about 400 hours and no trolls have ever spawned inside ..

In my older playthroughs, trolls generated by the vicinity of a cave (whether inside or outside the cave) did NOT respawn. However, on this current playthrough, it really does seem like the troll cave..
