You can stack workbenches on top of each other if you want, as many as you care to. There's no reason to, but you can. You should verify your game files to make sure it's not a bug.

Hunting in the Alps. And sailing. But there isn't one thing. Valheim is multiple games in one. At times it's pure twitch. At other times, all planning and logistics. At all times, fun.

Once you make a building you don't need the workbench there ... but they are handy to prevent spawns in their radius.

You need a workbench to make building parts. You can have as many workbenches as you want. They are only ten wood each.

Also, not aware of a limit to bases. You can build as many shacks, outposts, and bases as you want.. Just drop more workbenches wherever..

Tab menu lets you make a hammerPay attention to what the crow tells you, you can go back and check by hitting the crow icon in the tab menu.

To repair items you need a housed workbench so you can interact with the bench and craft other items. Hammer icon upper middle will repair all items at no cost.You can build as many bases or outposts ..
