Swamps are the worst place to have a boat. Leeches will destroy the boat. Plus many of the mobs can spawn underwater with bows to shoot the boat.

Don't make landfall in the swamp, set up a forward base in a safer location near its border and link up a portal. If there's no better biome nearby build a small sea fort starting from a partly submer..

Never happened to me, but I won't say it can't. You are probably on a server? Are you using mods? Could be a sync issue.

I've had to hunt for tombstones. Keep looking. It's prolly there. If not, you are justified in cloning whatever you lost. If you are being harassed while you search, use ghost mode.

That's of course still on the player to avoid. You can't have it both ways on mods that add stuff to the game. ;)

none of that works in multiplayer, if you want to use a map viewer you gotta use the valheim seed generator on google or just run around and discover the map normally I guess
