Are you looking for onion seeds in an 'unexplored' area of the map; you will find them. If you're looking in existing exposed map coordinates, you will not find them anywhere....

also there are threads with great maps people found you can lift a seed, just watch the age as the algorithm has changed a couple of times since launch and really old ones may not be the same as they ..

What I've learned is to simply don't touch terrain at all unless I absolutely have to.

you can definetly play solo but game is time consuming. just don't rush, take it as a long journey and you're good to go. you need a lot of grind and preparation to progress. if you rush it you'll get..

I have honestly been having a blast single player. One upside for me is this: I don't have to play with someone else who has unlocked stuff ahead of me, or play in a world that has already been looted..

I've never tried multiplayer and i've clocked over 800 hours. I mostly explore and hoard but i'm slowly starting to learn to build things.

You will lose volume in any smelting operation. Bronze is particularly vulnerable being an alloy. And this, as it happens, is how things work in Valheim. You are under no obligation to enjoy.
