I will agree that the swamp is harder than the plains and mountains based on the Tech available to the player when they first go there. Having a high bow skill helped me the first time.

The anti-swamp theme seems common these days. Is it the distaste for damp challenges? Anyway, it's your choice.

Checkbox option would be great. The fix is there (to some degree) it now plays the Discovery Music ONCE per object/building, but per gamesession. If you quit and start again, it will play the music ag..

You can shoot birds with flint or even plain wood arrows. Maybe your shots are landing at their feet? The crude bow has a lot of drop on your shot.
