If you want to keep them at full health, yes. However, rain only brings wooden constructions down to half health, so you don't need to cover anything if the rain damage doesn't really matter.

You can use console commands and get them back if you fly down the bottom of the ocean. Though that might be considered cheating.

Start from the ground up, mark it all out before you start, and don't build in the mistlands.

Careful building around frost caves, I've noticed the ground constantly shifts height - either burying structures possibly to the point of destruction or leaving them in mid air to fall apart.

You can only explore biomes once, and they have finite resources so its better to explore multiple incase your closest biome runs out of ores and dungeons. :)Only food can be reproduced endlessly.

I've really been enjoying Valheim again due to Mistlands... Exploring feels good when there's new unseen content. The mobs and terrain have been a nice challenge and I'll admit to ranting and raving o..
