Nothing harder than greydwarves will spawn in the meadows on a regular basis. Only during raids.

Not sure, but it can even get worse from there. I've got fulings attacking me in the meadows on my current save. So don't think you're safe anywhere. This world wants you dead.

Yep. That's why you either get a basic camp set up and sleep the night away before anything can bother you, or you brave the night and get yourself plenty of resin.

In the meadows? When you first started playing and had nothing but a stone axe, a hammer, a raspberry in your belly, a workshop with one wall and one roof, you were getting attacked by greydwarf brute..

IDK, I think it's just inconsistent spelling. Dverger is modern Norwegian (I think), and I am pretty sure Dvergr is old Norse.

if anyone else has a similar problem, I believe the mod "crafting with containers" was to blame for me

I figured it out - it was the multicraft mod :D

I think the deconstruct/recycle mod was doing that for me. So I disabled it.

I'm having the exact same problem (and use mods) have you figured out what mod is causing the issue?
