You can completely cover the area near your base with workbenches so they have nowhere to spawn. Just sandwich them between 2 stone walls so enemies can't see them and they won't attack them.

I had the same issue with the new version. I uninstalled the game, deleted it's folder, and after reinstall it ran fine for me. I suspect it had something to do with old mods still ingering there or B..

I've been on this server since the beginning and I'm the only player who actually marks out poi on the map. Using the found cartography table updates new locations and poi WITHIN MISTLANDS!!!

When a wraith finds you, mark it on the map. They'll respawn in the same area. Same with serpents.
