Unlike Minecraft, there isn't really a large community server environment for Valheim.

This food is crap. Crafting is crap. Survival is crap. Building is crap. I should be able to get through the whole game on skill alone. And by skill, I mean spamming dodge roll.

I place a chair...if careful placement, you can tag all your spits and have the food auto-pickup 100% every time. The careful placement is the key though and may take a few tries depending on numbers ..

Yep, done the same mistake the first time we get in the swamp. Since then, there's always a meadow or Black Forest just beside any swamp. We park there and go in the swamp by foot.

I think the big barrier is organization. Knowing what you have, what you still need, where to go get it. Until you learn to speak the game's language, you'll probably spend more time than is fun just ..

It very much teaches you as it tells a story of how much effort it took and takes to be self sufficient in this sort of setting.

concentrate on NOT dying..and its manageable,,,there will be deaths..but only fight when u have/want to..keep the best food you can with you
