I agree, but it is very disappointing that they turned down the suggestion for giving us more slots by adding paperdoll for dedicated gear slots. We don't actually need that much slots, so freeing inv..

It's just mainly food and valuables that take up more unnecessary slots relative to their size and weight.Interested to see if we get an update on it soon.

I think just adding character slots for gear would greatly improve inventory management. Like have armor slots, this would remove your pants, chest, helm, cape and belt which frees up enough space.

There is a mod for that.

But would they just remove the available slots if they shift them off for clothing? Sure it would be nice to have extra slots but in terms of game "balance" or whatever you want to call it....

The idea would not be bad, in fact it sounds interesting

The game reminds me a lot of Terraria, which does have separate slots for clothing and some items. It seems like a logical thing to add.

It's a trade off to wear clothes? Yes I must decide, should I wear my pants today or carry some more feathers? Decisions decisions.

Plenty of threads about this, search paper doll, but I agree. You wear your armor/clothes on your body, you don't keep it in your pocket / backpack.

There was talk about an inventory extension being sold at the vendor, I'd take a separate window with my clothing iver it anyday.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a tradeoff. You have to consider what is worth carrying and what isn't for the task at hand.
