Trolls are actually very easy to parry with a shield (banded or bronze or better). A trolls swing is broadcast because it is so slow, make sure not to raise the shield to early or it will just block, ..

Dodge it ! Right before the trunk smashes the ground, roll on the ground to avoid the hit. You need to find the right timing, give it a try and soon you'll find trolls fight casual to do :)

Im still wonder when devs gonna expand inventory , adds and adds full of crap to carry each update but not expand inventory slots neverEven an item that can expand it with the price of 10k gold i dont..

You can only really effectively parry them if you have a really nice shield and armor, but you can roll to dodge their attacks at any level due to it providing some invincibility for a moment mid roll..
