Personnaly, I use a Unity tweak to reduce the large square particles by 4 or 8, without changing any textures. That is enough, along with the great visual effects, to make me forget about textures.

I found the trader at a different projected location. The icon showed up on the map well before I saw him. Seems the generator is less than perfect when it comes to such things.

I think I remember reading in the patch notes about altered locations?I wonder if the world gen website is using an out of date process to produce the maps?

valheim maps world shows you where it could be, not always where something is. i recently used it to find bonemass but the place was not there so I packed up and went and looked for the next spawn.

Already explored mountain will not spawn caves , you have to search an unexplored mountain

If you uncovered most of the map more then likely you need to start a new seed. There is a radius from the area shown explored on the map that creates all the land, usually within seeing distance. So ..

Couple more ways...You can raise a terrain column and pull iron pole or similar support off it. You can attach a support pole to a tree, it is either ground or ground + 1, I forget. This has some risk..

Wood iron poles allow you to build pretty much anything. If you wanna build something big, you build it with those.

Use stone pillars or steel wood poles ( best of all but are expensive ) , at least core wood but not nornal wood pilars , them are very weakIf you want something 16m+ tall use mods

Auto pickup can be disabled and enabled by pressing the V key. Look into your key binds if the key is different.

From my understanding, the actual world generation range is much greater than what's revealed on the map as you're exploring. I want to say it's 500m, but I can't remember if that number is accurate. ..

did you disable ALL mods and see if it works?

You only need to do that if you want to hit the shrine and activate the run speed buff. I personally only care about modorboat, and never use the others, but if you swap them around or like this buff ..
