The Devs have designed things to encourage/ necessitate exploration, and therefore made only very few items that can be grown / farmed.... The same applies to taming animals.... very few can be tamed ..

Had this problem a couple times on a dedicated sever playing with friends, when a friend was afk for an extended period of time. Friend had to be kicked or log out to resolve.

Did you have a controller plugged in? Close and exit Steam using Steam top left corner or the bootloader at the clock bottom right corner r/click exit.Disconnect any controllers .Unplug your keyboard ..

Check and close other apps while playing. I just had a strange one where my audio app window on the desktop prevented me from building anything at a workstation.

Obvious follow up question: Is it just Valheim or for all programs/games?If the latter, it's very likely you broke your keyboard.

Before I knew of the Stagbreaker trick. I was breaking the scrap pile a little at a time, on one side. Leaving some on the left to stop them from coming through, and I would take them down with my bow..

It's challenging at first, but once you upgrade to iron gear it starts becoming fairly trivial unless you get careless. It's all part of the cycle. New biome>struggle>gear up>can take on ever..

Another good tip is to build a camp fire in the dungeon to keep rested and you heal faster

Stagbreaker is your best friend in the swamp dungeons. You can destroy almost everything on the other side of the scrap piles before it's even a threat to you.

You can make it look natural again with the various cultivator options. Grass, lillies on shallow water, natural texture on stone walls etc.

Functional objects like work benches, torches, smelters, fermenters, campfires, portals, and so on will create a 20 meter no-spawn zone. (purely structure objects like walls, doors, roofs, do not). So..
