Nice tip regarding iron mace vs golems. I never thought of that.... I tend to kill the wolves with either silver sword or frostner, and run from the damn golems lol.

FWIW, a bronze mace will kill a sea serpent. I don't know how that compares to sword, since I don't get the opportunity often, but the mace worked acceptably.I also found a troll to help "open up..

I keep the 2h mace as my secondary for panic situations now. One hand mace is good but the trade off for a dagger that has less stam use, quicker, lighter, easier to stun lock I think it can't compete..

Well the fight did go on for abit, didn't know gear like weapons and armour could despawn.

Gear cannot get destroyed. Despawning is most likely what happened, as already suggested.I guess the items could have also clipped through a wall or floor (if any was left standing). Happens sometimes..

Just adding to what's already said: Playing this game with randomers is a terrible idea since there's little in the way of griefing protection, and each world becomes quite a time investment.

I recently visited Ashlands to catch a fish, Surtlings destroyed my Karve and the resin was gone when I collected the parts.

Things lying around on the ground despawns after some time, when there are no workbench or campfire (or possibly other constructs) nearby. Maybe that happened?

Dwarfs presumably have low light vision.. Must seem like 120 watters to them!

Black Cores and Silver Ore are both probably finite. Finding a really good biome can be a pain in the ass.

As far as i can tell the password is required if you have the option called Crossplatform selected. Otherwise you can just start your server with the password field empty
