If Valheim is too difficult of a survival game for you I wonder which survival games you enjoy. In my experience Valheim is actually very forgiving. You don't really need to sleep, or eat or anything...

I think the real issue is balancing your foods early on, you can usually find berries and mushrooms near the spawn point, those are a great start.
