My friend and I had this issue, check to make sure your profile on Steam is not set to "private" once that was changed I could find their server just fine.

No it does not need a nerf nor an overhaul. Those that quit after reaching the swamps is what i would call 'natural selection' meaning they couldn't hack it anyways. There is absolutely nothing wrong ..

I think this was advised a while ago that no keys for this content exist anymore and won't exist anymore. Bring your hopes down now but if it does come out than woopeee

Or if you're up to hunting abominations, use root armor. Try not to get set on fire tho.

The sea serpent was unlucky. They're pretty rare. The rest sounds pretty normal. Mosquitoes are death incarnate if you aren't ready for them. Use a shield on them, or shoot them from far way.

It sounds like you might be doing some of these recovery runs at night.

Well ... the swamp was right next to the plains which we didn't realise at the time lol. But we survived it and carried on in the boat by which time it was dark ! So yeh ... it wasn't planned lol. And..

It happens! Generally, you can outrun and escape serpents if you get a tailwind. Probably makes sense to give the plains a wide berth to avoid the deathsquito issue until you have better armor and foo..
